Procrastination Motivation

My mind cries out from the edge of sleep “take action,  get up, make coffee and get those things done” motivation is seeping in
Procrastination calls but is drowned out by the sound of consequence

Rest is on the horizon but will not arrive if procrastination takes charge

Rest, when it arrives comes with so much more than procrastination could ever offer

So I say yes to motivation you may come with your “can-dos” and “get to”

I push aside the heavy loaded entitled sound of procrastination’s “have to” covered with disgust and resentment I want to stop and breathe fully and deeply in the coming rest
So I will respectfully engage with today’s motivation and honor the future resting me

Some days, I’m very good at procrastinating. But once I find my why. My mojo then I’m on fire 🔥
